Women of Achievement Celebrates 30 Years
The 2015 Tribute to Women of Achievement will take place on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m., at the Cobb Galleria Centre. The women honored have made extraordinary contributions to family, community, charity and their professions. This is the 30th year that the YWCA has recognized Women of Achievement, and it is sure to be the best! Women who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and excellence in their professional and community endeavors and lives and/or works in Cobb, Cherokee or Paulding counties are eligible to receive this honor.
Linda Coker and Tammy Cohen will be serving as the 2015 Tribute to Women of Achievement co-chairs. Additionally, several recipients of the Woman of the Year will serve as our honorary co-chairs.
A silent auction, "Open Your Hearts and Purses" to Women, will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will feature a selection of purses and surprise items. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to benefit the YWCA of Northwest Georgia. We hope to have all donation commitments as soon as possible, but must have all auction items in hand by March 13, 2015. The auction donation form can be downloaded here. (Link is not yet active.)
